Just a while I was in my room thinking about what Equality truly comes with and discovered a lot of odds in the scenario.
A lot of times we find ourselves seeking to be giving equal treatments as everyone and receive equal respect as attributed to others, not really considering what it really is.
The only respect to which we are equal is as we are all Human and not as to what we get in this world.
The moment you are hoping to get to where one is, you never know when you finally come pass that person. Its found in our day to day activities. Crossing ones level is a process that doesn't last a second, so the moment you are still monitoring ones movement to see how he is gonna come pass your level, he crosses without your awareness; the fact about life.
People of the 20th century promote equality to gain Superiority. We only beg to be given that equal treatment, so we can become superiors. We find words like VIP, MIP, First Class and Economy Ticket, Honorable, etc in our world today. Where is the Equality?
Our Fore-feminists fought tirelessly for Equality, opposite to the fight of our present feminists for Superiority led by the slogan, "What a man can do, a woman can do better". Why the contradiction?
We seem not to have Equality even in our minds and expect to perform magic in applying the so talked about equality. Equality begins in the mind. You have to first give yourself reasons for Equality so you don't become the devil when its your turn to give it a real life application.
Equality is not just in the Feminism.
Equality is not Men supporting Men and Women supporting Women.
Equality is both Supporting Each other.
Equality is against Male Chauvinism.
Equality is against Female Chauvinism.
Equality is in giving everyone equal opportunity to do what you can/cannot do.
Equality traces its Genesis to the Bible.
Equality is love.
With all what Equality entails, sometimes I wonder if it's ever gonna exist.
